How do i fix the stuttering on battlefield 2?

I just bought battlefield 2 , i am currently running it on my acer 7535G laptop.



When i start the game on single player i get lag like a ticking click. I.E move 2 seconds stop move 2 seconds stop how do i fix this?.How do i fix the stuttering on battlefield 2?
Try to disable hardware acceleration in sound settings (perfomance tab).
