Battlefield 2?

I just bought a new laptop and installed battlefield 2 on it with battlefield 2 on my desktop I get about 8 online servers, on my laptop I get 2 On my laptop I haven't patched or anything, could that be a problem? I do have the same filter's on both of them.Battlefield 2?
You should get the latest patch v1.41. Since mostly all servers these days are using that patch. So it is really common sense. Here are the patches by order of installation.

yes it could be a problem it could slow down game and also prevent you from playing online.
