Could I get a virus from playing Battlefield 2 online?

My father will not let me install Battlefield 2 because he believes that playing online will put his computer at risk. Is that possible? I can't imagine EA producing a game that puts their customers at risk. That seems like it would be bad for business.Could I get a virus from playing Battlefield 2 online?
No. Research the "problem" to give him indisputable evidence against his claim... I would say your dad isn't even concerned with problems of his comp involving your game, I bet more than anything he doesn't want you playing a game (or that one) on his comp. Does he let you play others on his comp? There's your ticket to getting in the door of victory, otherwise he's a truth dodger and an excuse maker; good luck with that!Could I get a virus from playing Battlefield 2 online?
You cant get a virus from battlefield 2 online. unless some1 hacked in to the server and planted a virus which is very unlikely. I've been playing for over 4 years now and i haven't ever had a virus, but you always take a chance when you get online. haha but that's life =DCould I get a virus from playing Battlefield 2 online?
No, it is not possible. Unless you download something, you can't get a virus. You're also right, EA wouldn't let such a thing be possible.
